CCA Speech and Debate Team was started as a club in the ’08-’09 year by Maggie Yang, Michelle Xie, Cynthia Jiang, and many others interested in speech and debate. (Who wouldn’t be?)

By the ’10-’11 year, CCA Speech and Debate Club officially became a team. During that season, we entered in our first tournaments.

No experience is needed to join Speech and Debate Team – everyone is invited!

Our Goal

Our team’s goal this year is to engage in speech and debate activities that will prepare us to compete in competitions. Therefore, most of our meetings will be focused on speech and debate techniques.
